Build-A-Bear® Bonus Club Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Build-A-Bear Bonus Club?
The Build-A-Bear Bonus Club is a fun way for Guests to unlock special perks and exclusive offers! Members earn one point for every pound spent (before tax, after discounts) in participating Build-A-Bear Workshop locations in Great Britain or online at www.buildabear.co.uk.
Members earn points that convert to Reward Certificates. Reward Certificates are given at each 50 points earned.
Is there a membership fee?
No, becoming a Build-A-Bear Bonus Club member is free.
How do I earn points?
When shopping in store, give your phone number, email address or account number to your sales associate.
When shopping online, sign into your Bonus Club account at checkout.
Points will be awarded to Club members ("Members") each time the Member makes a qualifying purchase. Qualifying purchases for which points can be awarded include all purchases of regular and sale items at participating Build-A-Bear Workshop retail stores or online at www.buildabear.co.uk ("Qualifying Purchase"). Points will be awarded for purchases paid for with gift cards or e-gift cards.
Members may also earn points on non-purchase activities pursuant to the terms and conditions governing those activities.
Can I be a member if I don’t have an email address?
No, we require an email address to join the Build-A-Bear™ Bonus Club because your Reward Certificates are issued via email.
How long does it take for my points to post?
Transactions will take 24-48 hours to post to your account.
What can I buy with my Reward Certificates?
Reward Certificates are valid towards any qualifying purchase except gift cards, e-gift cards or to pay for any taxes or shipping charges. Reward Certificates can only be used once and may be redeemed only at Build-A-Bear Workshop® stores in Great Britain or online at www.buildabear.co.uk. Reward Certificates may be combined or used with valid Build-A-Bear Workshop offers.
Will my points expire?
Points will expire if there is no activity (activity defined as points accumulated) within the Member’s account for one year.
Can I redeem Reward Certificates for cash?
No, reward certificates do not have cash value.
How do I check my points balance?
Click here to access My Account.
Do I earn points when I pay with a Gift Card?
Yes, points will be awarded for purchases paid for with gift cards or e-gift cards.
When will I get my Reward Certificate?
Reward certificates are issued within 48 hours of reaching 50 points on your account. Your certificate will be delivered via email and will be available in the “Rewards & Offers” section of your online account.
When does my Reward Certificate expire?
Your certificate’s expiration date will be listed in the email containing your certificate, as well as with the certificate details in the “Rewards & Offers” section of your online account.
How do I receive my Reward Certificate?
Reward Certificates are delivered via the email you provided with your account and are available within the “Rewards & Offers” section of your online account. If you need to change your email address, please click here.
