Bearemy®
, our huggable mascot, was born on August 21st, 1998. When he came to us we
knew he was a beary special friend, so how would we find the pawfect name? We
put out a search in all our Build-A-Bear Workshop stores to find the beary best
name for our new friend! We had lots of great ideas, but the one that fit the
best was from our young friend Samantha - Bearemy!
Bearemy is 9 ½ paws tall (about 6 ft. 4 in.), but is beary shy about his
weight. Let's just say he LOVES honey!
Bearemy quickly became the hottest bear in the country. He enjoys meeting our
Guests at new store openings and in-store events. He also travels around to
visit children in the hospital and where ever someone needs a hug.
Bearemy gives the beary best hugs and believes that a bear hug is understood in
any language! He gives thousands each year!
He has lots of friends, but his best friend is Pawlette Coufur
®,
Fashion Advisor to the Furry Famous. She makes sure Bearemy always looks his
best! And they have so much fun together playing in the store!

Pawlette Coufur was born in a small carrot patch near Pawston, and soon found
the world of furry fashion calling her name. She moved to Bearis and worked
with all of the hot designers, including Fuzzy, Grizz, and Floppy. Pawlette
Coufur soon became the final word on fashion for the furry. We are
un-bear-lievably thrilled to have her with us!
This distinguished teddy appears to be on the conservative side of style, but
don’t let his dapper looks fool you. He’s the talented tailor who makes sure
Pawlette Coufur®, Fashion Advisor to the Furry Famous and all the friends at
Build-A-Bear Workshop® always looks furbulous! Snip a thread here, add a ribbon
there, shine up those buttons and remember to smile! He has an eye for detail
and a flair for the fantastic.
This bearilliant British bear was born in London near Carnabeary Street in the
United Kingdom where he studied fashion. This is where he met Pawlette Coufur,
on one of her legendary European shopping trips – looking for the hottest
fashions to bring back to Build-A-Bear Workshop. They enjoyed an afternoon of
tea and scones - they were fast (and fashionable) friends and the rest, they
say, is history!
